About Larry Gilbert
Larry Gilbert is the creator and host of My Fame, Explained, where he takes listeners behind the curtain of fame to uncover the real stories of today’s most fascinating influencers.
Originally from Maine and now based in Tampa, Florida, Larry blends a strong media background with a passion for storytelling. He’s a social media specialist for a global pharmaceutical research company, and a former Audience Engagement Editor at one of Maine’s largest newspapers. Larry got his start in broadcasting at Portland’s ABC affiliate WMTW-TV and holds degrees in Communications and Video & Multimedia Technology.
